BKA Wins People’s Choice Award at Randwick City Council Architecture and Urban Design Awards

On 30 July, BKA was honoured to receive the People’s Choice Award at the Randwick City Council Architecture and Urban Design Awards for our new Life Science Building at Emanuel School, Randwick. The Building represents the culmination of months of research and planning and embodies a future-oriented, student-centric approach to teaching and learning, and is part of a masterplan for the heritage-listed campus developed by BKA and the NSW Heritage Office. Set into a steep site, the Building features a series of above ground and subterranean spaces that are designed to create a stimulating, nurturing environment for students.

BKA is delighted that such qualities clearly resonated with the public and looks forward to further developing both in future projects. Learn more about our work on the Emanuel School campus here.
