The approach is at once artful and lively, considered and efficient; an integrated architectural, structural, landscape and public art proposal. The design of a hotel on Pitt street for the Design Excellence competition, collaborated with Aileen Sage Architects proposes an integrated architectural, structural, landscape and public art that is lively, considered and efficient.

The design responds to the rich network of public and private spaces of the site through the activation of all sides of the site – the rear heritage Court buildings, the lane and the street.

The four facades are like large artworks, working closely with artist Liz Shreeve to create an integrated architectural composition translating her practice into a distinctive framework.
