Located in Sydney’s south, Penshurst Park Sporting Hub is an upgrade of an existing public space within the Georges River Council LGA into an inclusive, recreational parkland. When complete, the hub will facilitate a broad range of active and passive recreational, sporting, community, and social activities.
The project encompasses a number of features including multipurpose synthetic grounds for soccer, league, and cricket, a grandstand, change rooms, amenities, a children’s playground, BBQ and picnic shelters, and car parking. In addition, a purpose-built youth facility will provide indoor sporting facilities, a café, and offices for sporting associations.
Stages 2 and 3 of the project entail the extension of the existing leisure centre to incorporate a café and new series of indoor sporting and office spaces.
