English Street Boarding House consists of two five-storey buildings that are surrounded by courtyards, lush plantings and generous open spaces. It’s traditional construction of brick veneer is accentuated through the protruded brick articulation of the façade and is complimented by extended metal window hoods and privacy screens. Community interaction and liveability are encouraged through two large communal living spaces that open out to their respective connecting rooftop terraces. The project creates a synthesised approach to building and landscape, promoting sustainability and green design principles
