Kingsford Project Construction Update

BKA’s boarding house at Kingsford is nearing completion!

Some of the team recently attended the final walkthrough of our latest boarding house in Kingsford, located near UNSW. Designed to support international students, the project will deliver 22 self-contained units — each with a private bathroom, kitchenette, and study desk. Residents will also enjoy shared amenities including a rooftop deck, communal garden, and car parking. Built on a steep site with a 10m elevation change, the project required the demolition of a derelict home and extensive excavation. With limited access and tight neighbouring boundaries, the team overcame complex construction challenges with smart bracing solutions to support the basement, slabs, and fire tanks.
