In Construction | Lismore City Hall

BKA Architecture is honoured to be working on restoring and upgrading the Lismore City Assets following the damage caused by the devastating 2022 floods.

As part of this significant project, we have been involved in restoring Lismore City Hall’s locally historic features while delivering internal enhancements to meet contemporary standards and expectations.

Additionally, our team have been involved with designing a significant internal spatial reorganisation that meets contemporary usability requirements, delivers increased venue capacities, and provides flood resilience for its susceptibility to its contextual environment.

This restoration project was made possible through funding from the NSW and Federal Governments and Lismore City Council funding. BKA was engaged by the head contractor, Bennett Constructions.
