Starting the Year Strong: What’s on the Horizon at BKA

The team at BKA would like to wish all our valued clients, collaborators, and friends a happy new year. As always, we are excited by the new opportunities brought by a new year and are keen to undertake a number of new projects. We are particularly keen to expand our scope of works within the local government, multi-residential, and commercial sectors.

The first of our major projects for this year is a new hotel project in Green Square, in Sydney’s rapidly developing inner city. Spread across 8 storeys, the hotel will house 142 rooms, ground floor reception, conference and gymnasium facilities, and restaurant and outdoor dining space.

2016 will also see the practice strengthen our ties with local government through recent commissions including new car parks in Mascot and Botany for Bayside Council and the refurbishment of council office space for Waverley City Council. In a similar vein, BKA will sharpen our focus on sporting facilities with the commencement of work on Penshurst Park Sporting Hub and amenities at Heffron Park in the Randwick City Council LGA.

We look forward to diversifying our architectural experience in the coming twelve months. For updates on our project pipeline and progress, sign up to our newsletter.
